Everyone needs a little Special DK in their stash. With its new and improved look, you'll find a better quality yarn and a softer drape from the same great value ball. Stylecraft have created one of the most versatile and economic double knit yarns on the market and it's available in such a huge range of colours that it will fit any project or style with ease. Each ball holds almost 300m, which goes a long way! It's easy to wash and is very strong which makes it ideal for big projects like blankets, as well as hard wearing projects like toys or children’s clothes. It provides a strong stitch definition from the smooth spin allowing it to show up textured knitting in all its glory, but also makes it a great yarn for beginners or young crafters to learn with.

Love this yarn!

Stylecraft Special DK has been my preferred yarn for so many years. Perfect for crochet blankets, even soft enough for babies. Love Fiesta, a very bright pink, like a highlighter pen! And Turquoise, such a 'girly' blue! Bright vibrant colours and consistent quality.

Exactly what I needed

My little one is heavily into Yoshi from Super Mario and this is the colour and yarn I need to make him a Yoshi hat, scarf and mittens. Love the yarn
